About Jennifer
At A Place to Talk, Jennifer specializes in coping skills — providing a range of strategies focused on problem-solving, emotional support, finding meaning, and enhancing social interactions. Her unique approach combines direct, mindful treatments to help you achieve lasting results and effectively manage psychological and behavioral challenges, thereby reducing stress.
Do you often feel overwhelmed, constantly on edge, or stuck in the pursuit of perfection? Maybe you're paralyzed by the fear of making mistakes, caught in cycles of worry, overthinking, or harsh self-criticism. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone — and there is hope. Jennifer specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, health anxiety, and relationship challenges.
After graduating with an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Concordia (CA), Jennifer has over six years of experience in both community mental health and private practice. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices such as ACT, CBT, EMDR, and ERP. Jennifer is working toward her LPC license and, following AZBBHE private licensure requirements, is under clinical supervision by Luisa Nagore, LPC.
