Chad Mosher, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in Arizona who focuses on supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. His practice addresses a range of social and emotional concerns, including navigating medical, health, and disability-related challenges; transgender care; interpersonal relationships; and the impact of cultural “isms” such as racism, ableism, and homophobia. Chad’s therapeutic approach is relational, mindfulness-based, somatic, and highly collaborative.
He earned his M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University in 2001 and completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2006. Prior to entering private practice, Chad held leadership roles including Department Chair and Counselor Educator at the University of Phoenix, Program Director at CODAC’s LGBTQIA+ Health and Wellness Center, and Clinical Director at Palo Verde’s Outpatient Services.
Before beginning his work as a counselor, Chad had a career as a professional musician and music educator. He continues to enjoy music, ceramics, and exploring new creative crafts.
