About Elizabeth

Elizabeth brings extensive experience in mental health counseling, offering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. She helps clients — especially those in the BIPOC community — navigate trauma, stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges with compassion and evidence-based techniques. Her goal is to guide each person toward resilience and emotional balance.

As a first-generation American, Elizabeth brings both lived experience and professional training into her therapy practice. Having gone through her own process of religious deconstruction and exploring sexuality, she knows how layered questions of identity, belonging, and meaning can feel. She specializes in working with young adults, professionals, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who are exploring or redefining their spirituality.

Her therapeutic approach draws on CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, humanistic, and art-based modalities, always tailored to fit each client's unique needs. What often distinguishes her style is her intentional use of humor — incorporating play into adulthood is not just restorative but a necessary element of health. Laughter can ease tension, open doors to deeper insight, and remind us that healing does not always need to feel heavy to be meaningful.
